Ordering Credit

You may order credit from within eMagic. See a list of available credit vendors. You must first be signed up with the vendor to order.

  1. There are three ways to order credit:

    • Create Loan

      Main Menu > Origination tab > Create Lead/Loan > Create a Loan. Key in necessary information and either order credit right away or go directly to the Loan Folder.

    • Upload Loan

      Main Menu > Origination tab > Upload Loan. Upload the 3.2 file and either order credit right away or go directly to the Loan Folder.



    • Loan Folder

      Loan Folder > Actions menu > Services > More Vendor Services > Credit



  2. On the Credit Service Selection screen, click on the first letter of the credit provider's company name, then select the provider. If you'd like to put a link to the credit provider you selected on the Loan Folder, click OK to continue. Otherwise, click Cancel to continue without placing the quick link on the Loan Folder.

    Note: If ordering from the Loan Folder page, choose "Vendor Storefronts" and click Continue.

  3. Enter the necessary data required for the company you chose. You may click on the company's website for sign-up or account information. Checking Update My Profile will save the data for subsequent submissions.

  4. Choose the best report for your borrower. Choose Agency Select in the Single in File or Two in File Merge formats to have the company choose the best repository for your borrower. If you want to reference this credit report in a DU Express order, choose a Three in File Merge report.

  5. Choose the appropriate Credit Action.

  6. Note that adding the liabilities to the Loan App is defaulted as Yes.

  7. Click Confirm (see Ordering Services Basics for Error correction details).

  8. Review the Confirm page and click Submit Order.

  9. Optional: To add the credit report to the Trio Folder, click the "Add to Trio Folder" icon in the Services section of the Loan Folder.
