VA Loan Information

Some investors allow originators to submit VA loans via LP.com Express (check with your investor directly to see whether or not they accept government loans). Loan Prospector® requires additional information for VA loans in the LP.com Express data entry section.

VA Loan Information in LP.com Express

1. In the Mortgage Type and Loan Terms section, select VA as the type of Mortgage Applied For.
   

2. Click Show Loan Information Details to display the VA Loan Information section (below the Transaction Detail section of the data entry screen).

3. Complete the VA Information section.
   

   • VA Case Number: this field is auto-populated from the Terms tab in Loan App.

   • Residual Income: enter the "Balance Available for Family Support" amount found on line 44 of the VA Loan Analysis form (completed outside of LP.com Express).

   • Eligible Veteran?: Select 'Yes', indicating at least one borrower is an eligible veteran.
