Some investors allow originators to submit loans with a Custom DU™ Product. Check with your investor regarding Custom DU Product data requirements. Additional loan data may be required on the DU Express data entry page with Custom DU submissions.
In the Loan Type Information section, select the desired Custom DU product from the Product Code drop-down menu (options may vary by investor). Click Lender's Extended Data to display additional required fields.

Complete the fields required by the investor for the selected Custom DU product (data field requirements may vary by investor). Use the data entry field definitions below for reference.
Loan Documentation Type: Specifies the level of documentation collected to process and underwrite the loan. Select from the list.
Non Mortgage Cash Out Amt: Enter the total cash-out including any non-mortgage payoff amounts.
Will Escrow be Waived?: Indicates whether the lender will waive the borrower's escrow deposits. Choose Y/N.
Buydown Change Freq Mths: Enter the frequency (in months) at which the buydown subsidy amount changes.
Prepayment Penalty Term: Enter the number of months a prepayment penalty is in force.
Number of Properties Financed by Lender: Enter the number of properties already financed by this lender.
MI Insurer: Indicates the mortgage insurance provider. Select from the list.
Subordinate Lien Financing Provider: when submitting a first lien, this field specifies a second lien financing provider (if applicable). Select from the list.
Second Lien Financing Type: When submitting a second lien, this field describes the type of second lien financing. Select from the list.
First Lien Financing Provider: When submitting a second lien, this field specifies the first lien financing provider. Select from the list.
First Lien Financing Type: When submitting a second lien, this field describes the type of first lien financing. Select from the list.
PUD/Condo Classification: Identifies the type of project or condominium. Select from the list.
Condominium Characteristics Type: Additional description of condominium project characteristics. Select from the list.
Project Warranty Type: Describes the type of warranty on the PUD/Condo project. Select from the list.
Construction Type: Specifies the type of construction on the subject property. Select from the list.
Building Status: Specifies the physical status of the structure. Select from the list.
Building Stories Count: Enter the number of stories in the building.
Property Location Type: Description of the property location setting. Select from the list.
Improved Living Area Square Feet: Enter the square footage of the dwelling.
Acreage Number: Enter the number of acres for the property.
Property Use Type: Description of declared property use. Select from the list.
Property Zoning Type: Specifies the declared property zoning. Select from the list.
Unique Property Type: Specifies property type other than standard. Select from the list.
U.S. Citizen Employed Abroad Indicator: Indicates if any borrower is a U.S. Citizen employed abroad. Choose Y/N.
Foreign National Indicator: Identifies if any borrower is a foreign national (citizen of another country who visits the United States). Choose Y/N.
12 Mth Mortgage Rolling 30 Days Late Count: Enter the number of mortgages 30 days late in the past 12 months (based on lender's rolling 30 day policy).
