Overview
Originators assemble a folder — a virtual, shared loan folder — as they process a loan on any eMagic/lender site. This is done through eMagic's document imaging system.
Once you receive an e-mail request for underwriting, you have immediate online access to that loan file so all your underwriting tools are online. Resubmit or order new services, add/delete documents, and return your UW decision to the originator. If needed, originators can add new/revised documents to fulfill conditions or complete an incomplete loan file. eMagic automatically sends you e-mail notifications with each originator update. eDocs, MortgageApp and Website Package customers have access to even more document tools, including stacking order templates and up to 7 years storage of loan files.
Since it is a shared loan folder, eMagic keeps track of where documents came from (you or the originator) and all actions taken on the loan file, so you always know the current status of the Loan Folder.
