As your company's eMagic account administrator for your originator institution, you have the ability to assign loans to specific loan officers and to control their pipeline access. Click here to review the process of granting and removing specific user authorization levels.
Note: These features must be enabled for your institution prior to using them.
In this scenario, the authorization level includes "Loan Officer."

By checking "Loan Officer," you place the user's name in the Loan Officer dropdown wherever it appears within eMagic. Users with "Loan Officer" checked and "Segregated Pipeline" unchecked have access to all loans — assigned and unassigned — within the pipeline. The ability to assign originators to specific loans and access all originator pipelines must be enabled for your institution.
To assign an originator to a loan:
Select an originator from the drop-down menu when uploading or keying in a loan...

...or a lead.

The loan officer field defaults to the user who is currently logged in.
Note: Select "Unassigned" to avoid assigning the loan to a specific originator at this time.
The originator may view all loans that are in the pipeline, including unassigned loans.
Note: A warning displays if the loan to be uploaded shares a Social Security number with an existing loan in the pipeline.

In this scenario, the authorization levels include "Loan Officer" and "Segregated Pipeline."

By checking "Loan Officer" and "Segregated Pipeline," you place the user's name in the Loan Officer dropdown wherever it appears within eMagic. Users with "Loan Officer" and "Segregated Pipeline" checked have access to only those loans assigned to that specific originator. The ability to assign an originator and limit the originator's view to his/her own pipeline must be enabled for your institution.

By checking "Reassign Loan Officer," you give the user the ability to reassign a specific originator's pipeline to another originator. The loan reassignment feature must be enabled for your institution.
